Farewell to Martyn!

Martyn Weaver was ordained as a Deacon in York Minster on Sunday July 1st. He is therefore leaving us to join the parish of Selby Abbey to begin his curacy.

For the past several months, we have been very fortunate to have Martyn with us on placement.  He has been a blessing to many, in particular to the children & teenagers he has worked with on Friday evenings.  He, as well as Lorna & the children, have become a real part of the community at St. Luke's and we are sorry to see them go.

Prayers & best wishes to Martyn, Lorna, Matthew & Hannah as they begin the next part of this journey.  Selby are lucky to have you all!
