Working Day

We had a very successful working day following the PCC meeting on the 12th October. A veritable army turned up to polish, garden, wash windows, sweep up and delve in to the recesses of many a cupboard. Many of the things achieved are sometimes not that apparent, but we’ve discovered floors not seen for years and the hall is that much lighter with clean windows and a full complement of light bulbs – all little things that make a big difference.

We will be having another day in the New Year, so do please consider spending some time with us. We often have a bit of a laugh and it’s also a chance to chat to people over a mop, duster or cuppa.

Work of this nature is very important in the life of a church like ours as it avoids some unnecessarily expenditure and it makes the life of the Wardens that much easier, so Elaine and I would like to thank everyone for their efforts.
